"Tomorrow the Rains come back," The Shopkeeper casually said while hading Meliora's Silver Denarii change, His face was clean of scars but his wrinkles make up in terms for it, most of them certainly come from keeping a big smile over many years, one that suited him very well, even if it was directed at someone like her. Meliora can't help but look away. "Aren't you excited?"

"I guess." The Shopkeeper's eyebrows immediately lean upwards in a questioning gaze, too gloomy of a answer, damn.

"I-I mean!!-" Meliora can't help but stutter, "it's uh," I guess it's better just to lie. "This is my first season away from home." A level of dread pools in her stomach at the lie.

The Shopkeeper's suspicion shifts into empathy instantly "Oh You're Homesick! I'm so sorry for asking, it must hard for you to travel alone right now, that was indelicate of me."  They nod with understading, "i'm sure your family misses you just as much, i couldn't imagine spending the rain season away from my husband!" He laughs at the thought before  diving into a spiral of talking about his partner, it's a bit too much information for her liking but it doesn't bother Meliora so much, not when her mind is wandering through most of it.

It's not like it matter, she wonders  for a moment how Jovial must feel, something about the rains always made him more pathetically emotional than what he usually is, everytime the clouds would gather in the sky he would seek her and ask for her to "please watch the rain with me!!", his juvenile annoyince voice is still stuck in her head. she muses on the idea of how he must be feeling, spendig a season alone, something about it makes her glee for a second before the instant remorse fills her. Sweet Thunders i'm horrible  She must be the only 'Roo in this world whom glees at her brother's loneliness. by the time her own thoughts finished carving another hole in her the shopkeeper finished whatever rant he was yapping.

Meliora took her belongs and finally left the store, the distate for her herself in her mouth was seeping to her guts, she felt sick. Her mind kept going back to the shopkeeper's image, to his face talking about his family, she has no clue of what he was saying, but she didn't need to listen to see the joy on his face while simply talking about them.

Meliora frown's got bigger, it's stupid to be bothered over something she didn't want, she left for a reason, she's happy, she is.

Her denial was cut short from a small water drop hitting her nose, and another, and another, the quick droplets quickly turned into a drizzle, she breathed in and looked up, the clouds were moving quicker than usual and the rain was getting stronger, she could still see some sunlight above the clouds. Meliora breathed out letting the rain drops fall on her. It's the rain season, and she's happy.
